First Run Malta – Paul McBeth – PM overstamp (Misprint)

(43 customer reviews)

First Run Malta – The 4th disc in the Paul McBeth lineup, the First Run Malta is an overstable midrange designed to handle a ton of power. Available in Discraft’s Swirly ESP plastic, these First Run Malta’s feel great and have a super awesome look to them. From everything we have heard they have a similar flight to a Zone, a trusty overstable flight, but with the distance and glide of a Buzzz. Designed to be both overstable and controllable, the Paul McBeth Malta is a super useful disc that can handle headwinds and power shots. This disc seems to be destined for Paul’s bag and will be used a lot by him. He loves throwing the Zone and this disc is just a longer version of it. Instead of throwing a Raptor or Force in this spot and powering down, he will probably reach for the  Malta and throw it with a ton of confidence. The Discraft Malta is a disc that is starting to appear in a ton of players bags. It has a pretty good feel and an extremely trustworthy flight.

Discraft says this about the First Run Malta: “Paul’s 4th disc is a in his line, the Malta! The Malta consistently stable flights, offering players a feel and flight similar to the Zone but with the trust and distance of a stronger Buzzz.”

  1. Nice small diameter overstable mid. Might not be as stable as the flight numbers suggest though

  2. I love this disc! It looks great flying though the air. For me, its a longer zone with a smooth landing

  3. Sweet disc!

  4. A little less stable than expected. I’d say very similar to a RocX3. Very comfortable and the swirls are killer! Discraft does theirs colors right!
