Z Metallic Ringer – Ledgestone 2022
$21.99
Z Metallic Ringer – The Ringer is one of the most interesting feeling discs in the Discraft lineup. It is fairly shallow and overstable for a putter! Great for short to intermediate approaches that need to hyzer, the Z Metallic Ringer is the perfect disc! It has a shallow rim so it feels great in the hand both forehand and backhand. If you don’t like a Zone or a Breaker, but want a similar flight, then try a Ringer. The Ringer is a little faster than both the Zone and the Breaker, making it great for drives off of the tee. The Z Metallic variety of this mold is a Ledgestone Insurance Open fundraiser disc to help make Ledgestone one of the best stops on the tour! Help support the crazy high payouts by grabbing one of these gorgeous discs. Check this sick run out today!
Discraft says this about the mold: “Ringer is an excellent choice for an everyday utility disc. The combination of moderate overstability and low profile make Ringer a popular choice for approaches and putts alike in both calm and breezy conditions.”

Pretty unique shape, so I couldn’t quite get a good grip on this disc, which is why I can’t give a full review on it. Seemed pretty overstable on the few throws I already had.
I have really come to love this disc. I still have some throws to test it on, but it is proving to be reliable! I’m so used to the Zone that I had to learn where the Ringer fits in my bag. I feel like the Ringer is a go to off the tee when I want a bit more fade than my normal putter, the Roach, but i don’t want to throw the Zone. If it’s a head wind off the tee, but I normally throw my Roach, I feel like I get a reliably straight throw with the Ringer. The shallowness of the Ringer took a bit to get used to, but I feel like it assists in smooth releases. I have to be careful with my forehand shots with the Ringer, probably because I’m used to the Zone, but it is way more torque resistant than my Roach. I have learned, for me, that the Ringer is better for backhand throws.
Great in the hand. not as overstable as zone so it holds nice and straight!
This disc shipped quickly, arrived on time, and was cheaper than most other retailers. OTB delivers what they say they will. Today, that is rare and much appreciated.
I love the Ringer and I love this plastic. Would buy 100 more if my wife wouldn’t complain.
New favorite straight upshot disc, both forehand and backhand.
Gorgeous and stable!
