Warbird – Everyone in disc golf is looking for some extra distance and the Lone Star Warbird gives you just that. It is overstable enough that you can rip on it as hard as you can without fear of flipping too much. It has a little bit of high speed turn helping it get that max distance, once it starts to slow down it gets a nice and reliable fade. The mold feels great in the hand both backhand and forehand. Make sure you grab a Lone Star Discs Warbird today!

Lone Star says this about the mold: “The Warbird is a long distance overstable bomber with a high amount of glide.  This disc is a perfect addition to our Distance Drivers falling between the long distance flip and glide of the Curl with the strong finishing fade of the Bowie. The Warbird’s namesake comes from the North American Aviation T-6 Texan which was utilized in multiple air forces over its 40+ years of service.”

  1. I purchased the Bravo mold and it’s a little too flippy. Plus there’s a little nipple on top.

  2. Feels great in the hand, love the plastic. But it seemed crazy overstable

  3. The plastic quality is great, and both Warbirds I received fly exactly the same. Reliable, overstable flights that still push for some good distance even though I can’t throw far.

  4. Prefer the Nimitz. This one is more flippy.

  5. Found myself a nice stable straight warbird. Not super beefy but has dependable fade and fights headwind nicely

  6. Better than destroyer for head wind.

  7. Got the bravo plastic and a glow. Bravo had more dome and flys like a destroyer with a harder fade while the glow flys like a slightly beat in destroyer. Plastic feels great, nice and flexy flight plate but the rim is firm enough for a good grip. Kinda feels like a mix of Kastaplast k1 and prodigy 400 plastic. Both had a bit of flashing but not bad.

  8. Soft and grippy plastic. Flies like a beat in Wraith. Very prominent dome. Great for glide, but not very comfortable for forehand. Looking forward to dying this one
