ProLine Sail

ProLine Sail – The perfect beginners disc, this is a very understable driver that is perfect for those looking for more turn. Slower arm speeds can use this as their main distance driver, while power players will find a disc that is easy to roll for those shots that need to flip quickly. The Sail has tons of glide, making it easy to get distance even at low speeds. The ProLine plastic has tons of grip and plenty of durability. Grab a DGA ProLine Sail today!
DGA says this about the mold: “The DGA Sail distance driver is a very controllable distance driver that is great for all levels of play. The Sail with its understable flight characteristics is perfect for slower arm speeds looking for a long range distance driver. Players with faster arm speeds will have fun launching this disc into huge anhyzers and turn over shots. This DGA distance driver lives up to its name and produces effortless glide allowing players max distance and control. The sail is great for tough drives through tight wooded conditions that need distance and finesse.”

Seems less stable than a Mamba, so good for low power throwers.
If you’re looking for an anhyzer finish on a distance driver than look no further. I’ve been able to send this disc off on hyzer and still get anhyzer finishes.
I don’t have the arm speed to get consistently good flights from the Sail, but that’s my fault, not the disc’s. It’s well-made and comfortable in the hand, so I’m happy to put in the work required to become a better player.
Highly recommend for my fellow noodle arms.
Do not be fooled by -5 turn. 2nd Sail I ordered. Both are not instant rollers like the -5 suggests. 350′ Arm, hyzer, some height? Perfect left to right turnover. Headwind? Leave it in the bag.
It has the smallest dimensions of any similar disc as well: Height: 1.90 cm
Rim Depth: 1.10 cm
Rim Width: 1.90 cm
Good quality made in terms of no flashing etc. Slightly slippery plastic, but doesn’t bother me. Comfortable in most people’s hands.
Negative thing that drops the rating value is that flight number (turn) doesn’t match. This is significantly more stable than turn -5 indicates. I would rate turn as -3.
This flies almost the same as Axiom Virus when thrown about 300 ft. Turns over from flat and fades at the end.
Quite similar flight to Kastaplast’s 1st run Stig, but faster.
Sail is little more stable than Avenger SS (brand new), Essence (slightly used) or Underworld (brand new).
Based on the flight, this might be a good roller disc.
Second Sail ever. Like this disc!
Loving so far got it for rolling disc still figuring it out
I love that you can select your discs from OTB. The proline sail is unique all its own with the right speed for my arm and the reliable fade to the right.
Not quite as understable as the flight numbers suggest, but it is still understable. Excellent disc for turnover drives or roller shots.
