The rival is my personal favorite fairway driver and potentially my favorite disc. It fits perfectly in my hand and the Icon plastic beats in very well, similar to a Star or ESP feel in the hand. This disc is straight with reliable fade and you can work it in with a glow rival to have a more stable version as well. I have tried teebirds, athenas, FD1 (close second), rally, torque, Saint pro, explorer and more by now. If I had 100 rivals, I would give them to everyone I know. If this mold was made by another company, you would see this all over. Give this disc a try and you will want to keep it in your bag for ages.
The rival is a nice, under stable fairway driver that holds a solid line when turned over and will fight back if given a full flight. I would compare this, feel wise, to the Mantra from Thought Space Athletes. I like the plastic of the Mantra a bit better however.
175 swirly icon (Somewhat flat)
The first Legacy fairway driver I have thrown. It got a lot more turn than I expected. Feels and flies like a pretty well beaten star teebird. would give it a -1.5 turn and 1 fade. The swirly icon is very similar to star plastic in feel.
Very straight fairway driver! Swirly plastic is looking really nice. Seems to fly nearly identical to other icon rivals but with a little better grip.
Best Fairway ever. Just an addition to my collection. Plastic is awesome, as usual from Legacy. This is a winner for sure.
