Fusion Raider – the super popular new Raider mold is available in the great feeling and durable Fuzion plastic! This plastic also tends to be a bit more Overstable. The Raider mold is a certified boomer, getting a ton of distance and Glide with just the right amount of Turn to really get down the fairway.
We at OTB have tested three versions of the Raider – the SE initial run in a Fuzion type blend, the Lucid run, and this original stock stamped run in their Fusion plastic. The SE had the most turn, while the stock fuzion and lucid both had a bit more Overstability. All versions have a little turn to them before the inevitable fade. All versions are also certified boomers!
Dynamic says this about the mold: “The Raider sits comfortably between the Trespass and Enforcer in stability, and it excels at finishing forward instead of diving at the end of its flight. Players with slower arm speeds will find a dependable, overstable driver that will gain them distance over the Enforcer or Defender, while faster arms will love the Raider as a workhorse driver that is perfect for carrying multiples to cover a variety of shots.”

Not much different than a destroyer but i do like it and it does have the consistent push forward finish to the flight as advertised.

This disc has great glide both forehand and backhand. Just a very comfortable disc and more usable for me in fuzion plastic. This is my go-to forehand disc except on big anhyzer lines where I use the Giant. It’s my backhand disc when in windy conditions, otherwise I go with the less stable Pharoah.

Quit thinking about it, and just bag a raider. You won’t regret it.
Way less overstable in Fuzion than in Lucid. As a result, WAY more throwable. Fusion plastic is durable but not slick; firm but not inflexible. The wing is not exceptionally wide nor shallow, and for my somewhat-larger-than-average hands, it fits nicely.
Very consistent stable to overstable disc for me. I love how straight the raider flies.
Not bad. You dont have to throw this disc hard. The numbers could be more like a minus 1 on turn, or so, if we still are rocking the innova numbers mindset still
