Opto-X Culverin – The Culverin is a great flying control driver that has a great combination of control and distance. It is a disc that can be thrown hard and it will get a touch of flip before a big hyzer finish at the end of the flight. In the Opto-X plastic you will get a stiff disc that has an extra touch of stability making it perfect for forehands and headwind shots. If you’re looking for a new 9 stable speed then try an Opto-X Culverin today!

Latitude 64 says this about the mold: “Have a blast with this overstable fairway driver. A lot of fairway drivers fly too straight, and a lot of them are too overstable. The Culverin fits right between those two segments. For the advanced and pro players the first part of the flight will be straight and it will finish with a dependable fade. If you are looking for a dependable fairway driver that you still can get some decent distance out of, Culverin is the answer. Aim, shoot, hit your mark.”

  1. I love this disc lost the first one I had a long time ago and learned they don’t make them anymore. Super happy to have it back in my bag

  2. Awesome disc, straight flyer with a dependable fade.

  3. Excellent overstable control driver

  4. Such a great fairway driver. Has just a touch of flip but comes back stable at the end. Easy to keep straight when needed with a some fade at the end. Very underrated.

  5. I was expecting even more overstability, given the Opto-X plastic. So far it’s flying very much like an Opto Culverin (which I think may be the most underrated Trilogy mold) which is okay. I’m hoping the Opto-X will just maintain that stability even longer than a regular Opto disc would. I’d give it a 4.5 if I could….
