Opto-X Chameleon Explorer – Emerson Keith

(10 customer reviews)

Opto-X Chameleon Explorer – Version 3 of the Team Series discs from Trilogy features the Chameleon plastic. The Opto-X Chameleon Explorer is the Team Series disc for Emerson Keith. Emerson has really come on the last two years and keeps turning in solid performances. He chose the Explorer as his Team Series disc and it makes sense because it is one of the best fairway drivers in the game. The Chameleon and Glimmer plastic has been super hot recently and this run of Explorer will follow suit. The Opto-X plastic is nice and stiff without losing any grip and the Chameleon makes the plastic one of the best in the game. Similar to the Glimmer plastic but now with a clean mini stamp. If you want a gorgeous looking Explorer or want to support Emerson Keith, then this run is the perfect disc for you. The Emerson Keith Explorer is an amazing fairway that has a place in everyone’s bag. Grab one of these gorgeous things today.

Latitude says this about these runs: “The third version of Team Series discs this year comes to you with the cleanest, smallest stamps as to not distract from the striking Opto-X Chameleon plastic. These Recoils, Fuses, Explorers, and Pures are ready to take flight and join the other Team Series discs in your bag! A portion of each Team Series disc sales directly supports these touring professionals, so don’t be shy about picking up several!”

  1. Smooth, stable flight… Amazing feeling plastic !

  2. its good

  3. When trying to fill out the neutral fairway driver slot in my bag, I tried out a Teebird, a Stalker, an Instinct, and the Explorer in similar plastics/weights. Out of these 4 discs, I found the Explorer to give the most consistent straight flight and smooth release (forehand and backhand).

Opto-X Chameleon plastic is silly overstable. While a normal opto/gold explorer compares to a Teebird, the stability of an Explorer in this plastic is closer to a Firebird/Felon.

I’m looking forward to having this disc become a staple in my bag!

  4. This is the most overstable explorer I have ever thrown. It is almost felon overstable. Although not what I expected, it is a good disc to have in my bag, and is a great complement to the other explorers and mavericks that I throw.

  5. Opti-x chameleon is gorgeous. Love walking up to a shot and seeing a disc shimmer and shift colors in the sun.

Similar to a Discraft Stalker. Always could trust it with a finish left. My stalkers are too beat in now so I wanted to try an Explorer. Not disappointed.

  6. One of the more beautiful discs you will ever see. I bought one of the blue turns purple types. Flies great for back/forehand. This opto x is for sure a wind fighter. I’d say the flight numbers are 7,4,0,3. I see no turn at all with 300ft of power into a light headwind. Straight and then fade. It is exactly what I wanted. OTB is awesome.

  7. Great stable fairway. Ever buy a disc for one hole at a favorite course. I kept telling myself my opto x chameleon River was fine. After throwing the same bad shot for a couple months I finally decided to get this disc. It’s going to be great. Opto x Chameleon Explorer is stable into into a fairly stiff headwind, flies straight never turning. I will use it mainly for forehand drives where the Musket is too fast and the River has too much glide. My numbers for this are 7,4,0,3 at 300ft of power. Pretty beefy out of the box.

  8. Heavy. As desired

  9. This plastic is beautiful and feels great

  10. Great looking disc, exactly as described. Very stable, can’t wait to break this one in.
