Neutron Catalyst – Fast and understable are the perfect words to describe this mold. The Catalyst is a disc that can be thrown with the expectation that it will flip up a bit before having a gentle fade. It is perfect for players looking for that S pattern out of their distance drivers. it is understandable enough for rollers from big arms but stable enough to rip on if given enough hyzer and height. TheNeutron Catalyst is a great disc to have in your bag due to its flight path and the durability of the Neutron plastic. Make sure to pick up a Neutron Catalyst up today!

MVP says this about the mold: “The Catalyst is a perfect starter for big distance. Its stability profile lends itself to being incredibly useful even when underpowered. Catalyst is similar to a longer Wave. High power throwers will be able to control rollers, sky anhyzers, and tight turns, while average to low power players will get easy distance with great glide, and a power responsive amount of turn-to-straight. The Catalyst is molded with the same core and nice even dome as the Octane, yielding extra glide for maximum distance shots.”

  1. Preference of the hand feel of the Plasma plastic but this one’s a bit less flippy so it might take the spot of the other one as it beats in.

  2. It’s a flippy distance driver, but you’d probably have to throw at least 400′ to see much flip. If you’re looking for a disc to hyzerflip down a long straight corridor, this could be the disc for you!

  3. Excellent disc, I lost my worn in Relativity and this seemed to fill that gap without the break in time. We’ll see how it wears in after a while but it’s been a great disc for me from the start.

  4. Loving this Catalyst! It mashes off the tee and glides for miles. I throw this forehand with a tiny bit of anhyzer and it fights out with a smooth gliding finish.

  5. Too understable for me, but for slower arm speeds, this should be a great max distance disc, akin to a scorch or tern

  6. This disc unlocked so much distance for me

  7. Cycle these through my bag with a new one every 6 months, they break in reliably into a more and more flippy disc.

  8. I just throwed my furthest throw ever with Catalyst

  9. It is a great disc to throw. I tried it twice and parked a 400 foot hole both times, sadly i lost it on the next throw.

  10. Not as flippy as I was expecting. Get more turn on a fission Octane. Probably won’t make the bag.
