MVP Special Edition Reactor

(6 customer reviews)

MVP Special Edition Reactor – MVP has been shuffling their molds since the end of last year and one of the big changes they are making is revamping their midrange lineup. The newest disc added to the lineup is the Reactor. A somewhat fast feeling mid, it will slot almost in the middle of the MVP lineup. It has enough stability to really have control of where the disc goes. It can be crushed on without fear up turn and burn, it feels great in the hand on both forehand and backhand. The MVP Reactor should become a staple in the bag of many Gyro throwers. The Special Edition Reactor artwork is super gorgeous and features the MVP three foil stamp that looks great!!

MVP says this about the new mold: “Energize and let it fly with MVP’s vision of a stylized Reactor core. The Special Edition Reactor, designed by MVP guest artist Michael Ramanauskas, comes in a stunning triple-foil design, highlighting the containment energy and futuristic styling of a reactor charging the disc for maximum efficiency. Fully spooled and coursing with raw energy, the Special Edition Reactor is gorgeously realized on Neutron plastic. Enrich your bag today with the Reactor SE!”

  1. It flies straight and feels good on the hand.

  2. Disc came as describe and show in the pictures, pack safely as well. Bought this disc as a collector and happy with the looks of it!

  3. Great straight flyer

  4. I am a huge fan of the Matrix and this may take the slot of my Proton. It seems to fly a bit further and have very similar flight. The neutron on the special edition seems a but softer than normal and gives some extra grip. It is a great disc. I am not sure what I am going to do with all my back Proton Matrices now, haha

  5. Like a prior reviewer, I’m pretty picky with my mid range discs and this is an instant favorite. Most of my mids go around 270 to 290 on a good rip and this reactor goes over 300 feet for me a lot and averages in the 290 range even on a so-so throw. The best part is that I can accurately throw this disc at those longer (for me) midrange distances and this disc flies extremely close to the numbers at my arm speed. It’s very point and shoot. Can’t recommend it enough.

  6. My new favorite mid. Best mid I have ever tried and I’m picky about mid-ranges. Instant go to disc. Absolutely love it, not to mention the service from this site is always amazing!
