MVP Open Proton Defy – The Castle on Hole 10 at Maple Hill takes a crush to get there and there is no better disc to throw than the Axiom Discs Defy! Straight and glidey distance drivers are not the easiest to find and this is one of our favorites. If you have been looking for a straight flying disc, look no further, because the Defy is the perfect disc for all those straight distance shot needs. It holds up to high speeds very well and has minimal fade at the end of the flight. The Proton plastic has an amazing feel, plenty of stiffness, and a nice slightly overstable flight. Help support the amazing tournament that is the MVP Open and grab a Proton Defy today!

Axiom says this about the mold: “The Defy is straight with a nice bite of overstability at the end, and is best described as a more stable MVP Photon or a longer Axiom Clash. Like the Clash the Defy exhibits remarkable resistance to turnover even at high power. Players seeking a long straight power driver will appreciate the line-locking tendencies of the Defy, and throwers not fully powering the Defy will still get a highly useable long overstable disc.”

  1. Very true to the flight numbers, beats in to be more neutral

  2. Very overstable

  3. The Defy is a great stable distance driver. Perfect for forehands and shots where you want a reliable finish.

  4. When thrown on forehand with about 300-350 power, this gives me a clean release and is reliably overstable. It has good forward push.

  5. Love this thing. 11 speed time lapse.

  6. Very stable. I’m a beginner only been playing for 6months. I throw around 315-350f This disc is very stable for my arm speed. I use it as a utility disc for throwing in windy conditions. Definitely the nicest looking disc I have

  7. the best

  8. MVP/Axiom/OTB are nailing these stamps! The holographic dragon and knight look amazing, the product image is great but doesn’t do it justice. I got a blue/teal disc /orange rim and think the holo looks great on the dark color tone. Either way, love the Defy in Proton and love the stamp!

  9. Great Disc!! Long straight flight with good fade at the end.

  10. Great quality and cool stamp.
