Lima Artemis – The Artemis is a great feeling approach disc from Lone Star Discs that is perfect for attacking greens in headwinds. It has a low profile, beadless rim that is great for sitting in your hand on both forehands and backhands. The Lima plastic is extremely grippy and will beat in a little quicker than Bravo or Alpha plastic. This is a great midrange that any skill level can use. The feel in my hand, as well as the flight, reminded me of my Roc. The disc’s profile isn’t really very similar, but that’s what came to mind to me. It gave me a nice straight flight before the fade kicked in. I’m finding that I love the feel of Lima plastic! Lightweight, bendy, grippy and tough! No more that a few scuffs around the edges after two days of crashing through the woods here.
