D-Blend Anubis – One of the straightest midranges in the game, the Anubis is a perfect disc to carve up the woods. It is a disc that can hold up to power but won’t fade out. If thrown on anhyzer angle it ill hold and glide for the entirety of its flight. It is a comfortable, beadless mid that can be used by players of all skill levels. It is a perfect disc for beginners, it will hold straight for a long time and glide enough to get some distance. In power arms, it is a perfect hyzer flip midrange for those wooded shots. The Infinite Discs D-Blend Anubis will hold a straight line and stay in the air for days without any fade, making it the perfect candidate for the woods.

Infinite says this about the mold: “The Anubis is a straight-flying, all-purpose, precision mid-range disc that will fit into the bags of both novice and professional players. Every player can count on the Anubis to hold the line whether thrown for shorter approaches or for longer distances off the tee. The Anubis will help players to fine-tune their throwing skills by flying precisely in accordance with the release from the hand.”

  1. I’m an amateur and only throw this disc. I like that it s easy to control and good as my driver , midrange, and putter.

  2. The Anubis was advertised as a straight flying disc and I agree with that statement. This disc, when released on a flat line, will fly straight with a reliable slight fade at the end. When released on a hyzer angle, the Anubis will hold a true line and on an anhyzer release will do the same. If thrown with a slight turnover line you will see a fairly reliable flight every time. This disc works very well for my moderate speed (7-8) backhand but I could foresee someone with a stronger arm needing to get this in a harder plastic (mine is the I-Blend). As I am a forehand dominant player, I have a hard time throwing the Anubis in the I-Blend with any kind of consistency. Perhaps this is due to the more flexible plastic. Having said that, it is a perfect flick approach disc within 150 feet as it won’t require a ton of torque to get it to go where it needs to go. All in all, this is a fantastic disc in my bag and I can really lean on it with my backhand in a pinch. If I had a harder plastic blend and could throw it with a forehand I would have rated it higher.
