G-Star Tern – This is one of the best discs to come out of the Innova lineup in recent years. A go-to disc for some of the slower arm speeds, the Tern has a nice turn to get it flipped up and a ton of glide to carry it over on the line. With a thinner profile rim, and a comfortable 12 speed rim width, the Tern has a good, unique feel in the hand. This mold has a really shallow rim to it and a lot of players over the feel. It is a fast disc that gets plenty of turn so it can bomb down the fairway. These things have tons of glide, listed at 6 by Innova, you won’t be lacking glide or distance with the G-Star Tern. If you’re looking to get distance and a Destroyer or Shryke are too stable for you, then grab a Tern and add some distance with this awesome mold. The Star plastic has a good feel and is a little more overstable than the G Star and Echostar plastic.
Innova says this about the mold: “Like the name, this disc has natural turn. Similar to the Archon, the Tern is a fast slightly understable disc that is designed for long shot shaping throws. In the hands of a powerful player, it just may be one of the farthest flying discs due to the long glide and natural turn. The Champion and Glow Champion Tern flight numbers reflect a more stable flight. (12|6|-2|2)”

Good hyzer flip
OTB Customer Service was the best again. Shipped fast, got the exact disc I wanted. Not the exact flight I wanted. A little too flippy for an air disc and not quite understable enough for a roller disc.

very domey, very flippy. significantly more understable than my star and halo terns
Super easy to throw. Gotten some of my bear throws with it but can sometimes be a little inconsistent
Not as under stable as I hoped.
wayyyyyy too flippy to use in any sort of pressure situation but fun for practicing hyzer flips
