G-Star Beast – One of the more popular discs when it was initially released (2002-2003), the Beast from Innova was a big time distance driver. It has since been surpassed by many a wide rim mold, but it still has a great flight! An under rated mold, for sure, the Beast can surprise many with it’s accurate distance and comfortable rim feel. The G-Star plastic has a great feel, especially if you like gummy plastic or play in cold weather. The G-Star plastic normally adds a bit more understability for big time bombs! Loved this, first GStar disc and the extra grip feels great
I love the beast so much, it’s the most controllable driver I’ve ever thrown (close second is the Wraith, happy to shoutout that guy) and still gets to 400 feet consistently. The gstar and the star seem to fly more true to the numbers than champion plastic, but all feel great.
This disc bombs, it is definitely understable in the g-star plastic. That being said, it is a hyzer flip machine.
