Discraft says this about the mold: “Introducing the First Run Athena, the sixth disc in the Paul McBeth lineup. My fav disc in my bag

Great variation. Nice & straight with slight fade
Matson –
Received two lighter weight, 168g. Holds just about any line you put it on with slight fade at the end. Very little flip up or turn, overall straight as an arrow. Can throw a nuke about 415′ for arm speed reference

Great and the fade isn’t too dramatic

Like the Anax, just a bit slower, but easier for me to throw.

Finally a Discraft Teebird!
Marco Poon –
Slightly less stable than the proto Athenas. The rim fits perfectly in my hand. Not too domey but still glides nicely. I think this is replacing my Barsby color glow Eagle.

Great disc

Definitely flies true to its numbers. Much less stable than the Proto Athena’s. Love them for flick forehands. Couldn’t recommend buying from OTB enough. Best customer service, fastest shipping, and the buyer experience is second to none!
