FD2 – Glow C-Line – Leo Piironen Royal Rage
FD2 Royal Rage – This disc has had a ton of hype from Discmania since the initial release video of Eagle and Simon testing out a C Line version of it. The goal was to reinvent the FD2 to make it more like how it was intended. Their result was the closest thing to the 2nd run FD – maybe going a little too far just yet =P but it had received such comparisons with that original test run. These FD2’s fly super straight and have just enough fade to trust on every throw.
These Royal Rages are Leo Piironen’s Tour Series disc and a portion of the proceeds go to his tour funding. With some sick artwork featuring a lion, these are sure to catch the eye of your friends. It feels pretty good in the hand with the flattest top these FD2’s have had. The Glow C Line plastic feels as good as ever with just the right amount of grip and durability. It is a great disc to carve fairways up on any shot shape.

Absolutely love this disc for my forehand flex shots right out of the box. Good grip Fh or RHBH plastic is nice a soft/flexible. If I knew I would like it this much would have bought 2!

I’m in love with FD:s and the FD3 so I suspected the FD2 would be a great compliment to them. I can make it go straight for 90% of the flight then the fade kicks in.

For me this is a little to overstable for my arm right now but I just throw it on a anhyzer and it works fine. But I can see it being a great long hyzer line disc.
