Electron Ion – One of the mainstay putters in the MVP lineup. The Ion features a big bead for those who prefer that feel. It is a very comfortable and familiar putter grip. The MVP Ion is the first mold ever made by MVP and it is one of the best. It is a putter that can handle a ton of power without flipping but it will have a gentle fade and finish on hyzer most of the time. A great putter for spin putters around the circle, this mold has a ton of usefulness all over the course. Great putter. love it!
Made the switch from Wizards to Ions, couldn’t be happier!
I’ve been putting with Wizards for years, and had been thinking that I wanted something with a touch less fade, and perhaps a touch shorter profile. The Ion is that disc. It feels perfect in my hand, and the soft plastic, which I’m normally not a fan of, feels great. I think that is due to the overmold making it keep it’s shape a bit more.
Hopefully this review is helpful to someone out there.
I love the texture and flight pattern of this putter.
Like the plastic. I would prefer a heavier putter.
