Color Glow C-Line MD1 – A disc that was loved in the early days of Discmania is back. The MD1 is a great feeling midrange that can be used on a myriad of lines by tons of different skill levels, from Eagle McMahon to a brand new player. This is a disc that holds the line at both high speeds and low speeds making it great for drives and approaches. The Color Glow C-Line plastic has a great grippy feel and some nice glow to it. Discmania says this about the mold: “This is the MD1, our straightest Originals midrange – Reinvented. The MD1 was the first ever Discmania mold back in 2006. We wanted to Reinvent the MD1 to be the golden standard for straight flying midrange. You can shape any line and trust the MD1 to hold it and arrive at the destination with its magnificent glide. Glad that Discmania released these here in the US because I didn’t want to purchase from overseas and pay the extra charge.
Having said that, these are great and incredibly straight. Nice and grippy plastic that will hold any angle its thrown on. I have a regular C Line in the bag that is starting to get somewhat flippy and this is a nice stable counterpart to that disc.
This is a sweet run. Nice and flat when compared to the ASSA special ed run from Europe. Perfect complement to my beat in white c line md1.
