Clandestine Area 51 – Everyone loves an overstable approach disc. The Area 51 is perfect for that slot! This disc is perfect for flex shots, head wind shots, and power hyzers that do not need a ton of distance. The Clandestine plastic is a great premium blend of plastic that holds up well over time. Doomsday Discs says this about the mold: “The Area 51 is an approach putter with a shallow profile and overstable finish so that it can handle significant torque, making it an excellent choice for sidearm throws and confident approach shots. It is being released as part of the Conspiracy Line of discs. The premium plastic with a sparkle finish is durable and somewhat stiff and we’re calling it Clandestine (for now) to give this premium blend it’s own identity. The disc weight will land in the 170-175 gram range (most often around 172 grams).”

You know how an eclipse envy beats in with a little flip and you miss how stable it was on the first few throws? That’s exactly how the Area 51 beats in. It’ll give you a nice straight flight with reliable fade. It’s brilliant. It’s also nice and shallow. Not so deep as to be uncomfortable. It also forehands really nice. This is one of my favorite discs hands down.
