It is a mixture of the Leopard3 and the Roadrunner making it perfect for straight throws at low speeds. It can be used for hyzer flips, rollers, low power shots, and many more shots all over the course. It is a disc that can be loved by players of all skill levels especially newer players that need an understable fairway driver. Grab an Innova Champion It today.
Innova says this about the mold: “The Innova IT was developed to go straight and far, effortlessly. With ITs gentle turn and unmatched glide, tightly wooded fairways feel open and attackable. When another Fairway Driver would fade and drop, IT holds on the line of release and carries. Great for standstill and low ceiling shots that still need to get distance. IT also makes an exceptional roller disc, even when new.”
Speed 7 | Glide 6 | Turn -2 | Fade 1 |
Straight flying disc. Bought to replace an IT that my dad lost in a pond.
Not nearly as understable in Champ plastic (173g) as I thought it would be given a lot of other reviews. Has a bit of turn, but mostly just straight to soft fade. Reminds me of a beat in Teebird with more glide and more comfortable in the hand. I also bag a 175g F2 Halo which does have what I’d call -2/-3 turn for my 330 ft of fairway driver power.
I really like this disc. Very straight for woods golf.
Hyzer flip machine
Awesome disc, great for turnover shots in the woods.
Best first fairway driver from Innova hands down. For medium arms, it flips to flat and continues to turn in champion. In Star, it’s a little flippy for medium arms; but it’s a great roller disc.
I throw about 350′ with distance drivers, and the star version of this is too flippy, but the champion version is an eazy, hyzer-flip machine.
Wild flippy. It turns over much faster than my Champ Roadrunner. Can fly straight with minimum effort and wind, but any torque will put it in the ground.
This mold feels amazing in the hand but it is a little too inconstant in it’s flight for me.
Flippy, but controlled.
