Blank Prism Neutron Pyro – A brand new mold to the Axiom lineup in June 2019, this disc is ready to blow up all over the disc golf world! An Overstable Midrange disc, the Pyro falls just under the Deflector in terms of how beefy it is. Where the Deflector will start to Fade almost immediately, the Axiom Pyro will hold straight for a bit longer before the inevitable, reliable Fade.

We at OTB Discs tested this new mold and found that hypothesis to be true. We were very excited at the possibility of a less Overstable Deflector. We love that mold!! But, it would be nice to get a little more flight out of it every once in a while =). This disc seems to be exactly that

From Axiom – “The Prism Pyro is debuting with a stock triple-foil stamp, that in combination with a Proton core and Prism rim produces a stunning dual-toned translucent disc. The Prism Pyro was designed as Axiom’s first overstable Midrange with more glide than the MVP Deflector and a commanding stable finish. The Pyro has enough stability for consistent flights in strong winds and powerful throws without losing its line and turning off target.”

  1. One of the only shops who had these in stock!

  2. Good over-stable forehand

  3. Amazing!

  4. Just an all around solid and ergonomic overstable mid. Thankful to OTB for having pretty accurate photos and disc information, some other websites use disingenuous lighting to make dull colors appear bright.

  5. It’s a Pyro and it’s beautiful, enough said!

  6. Love it for pushing flex shots and forehands

  7. Great disc to complete the midrange slots. Straight with a stable finish for me. Works great for forehands and backhands.
