DX Aviar3 – Great new addition to the Aviar’s storied history. These new Aviar3 versions of the Aviar are a bit thinner profile, making them a touch faster, and also a bit more Overstable. Still with plenty of Glide and straight flight, these Aviar3s have a bit different feel in the hand and a bit more distance than previously seen. Fast
Fast and stable like other reviews here have stated. I think it glides farther than a “2” would lead you to believe. It fades reliably but not so strongly that you can’t shape your approach shots or even put with it. Good candidate for a one-disc round disc on a short course.
I use it for spin putts and I find it easier to get a level release than with an Aviar P&A. Because my release is better the disc actually flies straighter for me despite having a higher fade than the P&A. The dx plastic does get banged up pretty quick so I got a few spares.
