Armadillo – Lone Star has added a bunch of new molds to the lineup and one of the best and most unique is the Armadillo. It has a thumbtrack on top and a frisbee-like bottom that makes it a great point and shoot disc. It is a fairly deep disc but it doesn’t have very much glide, unlike other deep dish putters. This is disc that will be great for approaches both forehand and backhand that need to go very straight.
Lone Star says this about the mold: “Armadillos are characterized by their armored shell and long, sharp claws for digging into the ground
Our newest Putt and Approach disc holds true to its namesake with its Blunt Nosed Rim and Thumbtracked Shoulder that allow this disc to fly straight as an arrow with reliable fade to its intended target.”

Not super happy with the plastic but it flies as expected.
Thought the Dillo I purchased was going to be in the premium plastic, but thats on me, not on OTB. Great flying disc both forehand and backhand. Really surprised with how it is under varying speeds and its really comfortable in the hand. I actually like the thumbtrack being more pronounced than on Innova counterparts. Would totally recommend.

Love the V1 plastic. Good grip and just the right amount of give/flex. I’m a fan.
OTB is the best!! My Dillo shows up packaged nicely as always.
The victor plastic feels very nice and although the disc isn’t for me, my buddy loves it and that’s the fun of disc golf- finding what you like and swapping for what your friends don’t like. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
Great for approaches. Wanted to compare it to my berg. This has a little more glide and less fade
