500 A2 – The A2 is an amazing approach disc that is perfect for forehands and hyzer shots. It has a beadless feel which makes it comfortable for a variety of grips. The 500 plastic makes it perfect for those that want a more overstable run of the A2. This is the perfect disc for headwind shots and spike hyzers. Make sure you grab a Prodigy Discs 500 A2 today!

Prodigy says this about the mold: “The Prodigy Disc A2 is an overstable utility disc that fills the gap between midranges and putters. The A2 is perfect for power throwers who want to avoid the possibility of their shot turning over. The disc is consistent and reliable in all wind conditions and perfect for short, trick shots as well as high wind approach shots. The A2 is a beadless cousin to the A1 and will fly just slightly less stable than the A1. You can expect and extra 30 to 40 feet of glide than the A1.”

  1. Still getting used to it, but am excited to try a new to me approach disc.

  2. Shallow, great feeling very overstable approach disc. Exactly what I was hoping for. For reference, it feels like a slightly shallower distortion, but flies fairly significantly more overstable.

  3. Very Overstable disc. Feels Great and exactly as OTB described

  4. Great disc! This and the A1 function almost as overstable mid range discs for me. The A2 is pretty overstable at first but once you find the right release angle and hit the sweet spot for this disc, it will get a good 30-40 ft of glide over the A1 with a nice reliable fade.

  5. Very pleased with the disc and service by OTB! Incredibly fast shipping even around the holiday season, and accurate description of the disc.

  6. Way more stable than my zone

  7. Reliability overstable

  8. Super comfortable shallow feeling disc. The 700 plastic feels really durable and nice to hold. My only complaint is that it glides a little bit more than comparable discs, but it’s still a great approach disc and borders on midrange territory thanks to the high glide.

  9. BEEFY. Get one in 750 plastic and you have your meat slab approach disc for the next decade.

  10. 750 plastic is STABLE for this disc. Exactly what i was looking for when wanting to throw flex sidearm flicks, Side arm skip shots, Low BH skip shots, and extra spikey spike hyzers. Its a perfect utility approach disc. Only downside is the fresh plastic excess you may get with prodigy. Although, after a few rounds its gone and feels amazing in the hand. OTB was spot on with all the dimensions as usual. Looking forward to trying this puppy out in 300 plastic for softer approaches.
