RIP California Landmine – Doomsday Discs has created one of the most unique putters around, with one of the wildest stamps around. The RIP California Landmine is a disc that has a very, VERY square edge and is also pretty deep dished and a stamp that can only be found at OTB. It is a disc that has a little bit of fade but mostly has a really straight flight. If you use it as your main putter it will catch the chains very well. It has a very unique feel in the hand that some may not like at all. The Weapons Grade plastic is a nice baseline plastic that is perfect for in the circle shots. For this run we made a donation to the California Firefighters Foundation to help support Firefighters in California. Grab yourself an RIP California Landmine today!

Doomsday Discs says this about the mold: “The Land Mine is the only putter you’ll need, particularly if it is the only putter you have. It has a very blunt rim and could double as both a utility putter and a dish to hold your cold squirrel stew. While leaving a few Land Mines strategically spaced around your campground might help frighten unwanted visitors, in reality they won’t accomplish much more than tripping intruders.”

OTB NOTES: MOST FLIGHT PLATES ARE SLIGHTLY WARPED

  1. Love the doomsday discs. The landmine was the very first disc I ever threw from the company a year ago. I ordered this one as a replacement for my original. Not disappointed at all… Highly recommend doomsday disc and OTB …

  2. I use the Landmine for upshots/approach from 150’ and in. The flight is predictably straight with a reliable fade at the end, and due to the unique blunt edge, you don’t get a lot of ground play, so it stays where it lands.

  3. Very unique disc

  4. I have thrown the doomsday landmine putt approach since it was originally released. This is a great approach disc. It has a square nose and feels a bit different in the hand. It is surprisingly good in the wind. Slightly overstable the landmine will fly with a predictable finish. I highly recommend this disc.

  5. This thing feels bonkers, but has such a consistent flight. It’s basically everything I wanted the Berg to be; thrown soft, it has a good amount of fade to it, but it can handle a lot of power and just hold straight. Also takes flex lines well, without getting too squirrely.
