Innova Wahoo – It floats!!!!!!!!!! The Wahoo is a wide rimmed driver that comes in plastic designed to float, it is the fastest floating driver that Innova makes. Good for beginning players who would rather not lose their discs, it gets a decent amount of turn and some fade. If you are playing a course with a lot of water nearby then the Wahoo is for you. They float and are meant to be thrown far for arms of all sizes. They have a really unique feel, especially the Champion plastic. They are domey and generally somewhat stiff. What can you say? It floats and it’s less flippy than a dragon.
I always keep a Wahoo for peace of mind in the tough lines next to water. I’ll run it and if I miss I still ran it and can get my disc back
The Wahoo is becoming popular in my group as we have a water carry hole in the most popular course around here. Everyone has enjoyed the overstable flight and floatability. This one had a stiff and very gummy feel.
