Star Thunderbird
$17.99
Thunderbird – The Thunderbird has been an extremely well received new addition to Innova’s lineup. It was touted as the perfect in between for the ever popular TeeBird and Destroyer molds. The Thunderbird has lived up to those expectations wonderfully! 4x world champion Paul McBeth uses his Thunderbirds for many different shots and has even made it one of his signature discs. It is a very straight flyer and can handle high arm speeds with ease. Now thrown by players like Nate Sexton and Jeremy Koling, The Big Sexy tandem, it is still a highly used disc in the Innova lineup. A hybrid between a fairway and distance driver, this disc gets plenty of distance while having the control of a fairway. It bombs way further than most fairways and is generally more stable than most fairways; while at the same time it is much more controllable than a 12 speed. It is pretty glidey and sits right in between the Teebird or Eagle and the Destroyer. It is a solid disc that many players throw and lots of people bag it. We over at OTB bag the a couple Thunderbirds each and we are a big fan.
The Thunderbird comes in many different plastics, but the Star variety has been finding its way into the top pros bags lately.

Perfect speed disc for all players. I keep multiples in my bag
great for dyeing and throwing 🙂
Classic star thundy. Breaking this out for many straight FH shots as these always hold up to the torque.
Feels great to throw, nice plastic
The comfortable feel of Star plastic and the consistent straight flat flight with a reliable slight fade to finish. My go to on wooded courses.
Love it!
Love that OTB gives a flight plate and plastic stiffness scale. You guys rock!
This disc keeps on surprising me. Been great in cross winds!
It should in theory fly like a faster Teebird, but I find that it is a little more overstable than the Teebird; maybe a 9 5 0 3?
Great product, it’s now in a creek but I’ll be getting another.
