Thunderbird – Pro, DX
$9.99 – $12.99
Pro Thunderbird – The Thunderbird has been an extremely well received new addition to Innova’s lineup. It was touted as the perfect in between for the ever popular TeeBird and Destroyer molds. The Thunderbird has lived up to those expectations wonderfully! 4x world champion Paul McBeth uses his Thunderbirds for many different shots and has even made it one of his signature discs. It is a very straight flyer and can handle high arm speeds with ease. Now thrown by players like Nat Sexton and Jeremy Koling, The Big Sexy tandem, it is still a highly used disc in the Innova lineup. A hybrid between a fairway and distance driver, this disc gets plenty of distance while having the control of a fairway. It bombs way further than most fairways and is generally more stable than most fairways; while at the same time it is much more controllable than a 12 speed. It is pretty glidey and sits right in between the Teebird or Eagle and the Destroyer. It is a solid disc that many players throw and lots of people bag it. We over at OTB bag the a couple Thunderbirds each and we are a big fan.
The Thunderbird comes in many different plastics, but the Pro/DX Thunderbird is the best for long turnovers and a straighter glider flight.

Aaron Friedman –
Excellent slightly overstable fairway driver out of the box. But expect it to beat in quickly.
Paul E. –
Great disc. I love the feel, the flight, and the rate in which it is seasoning in. I only gave 4 stars since it did have some pretty bad flashing.
Jordan knight –
easy to beat in thundy
leylandjackson761 –
Dx thunderbirds are perfect for 350ft and don’t turn over like other dx disc when thrown backhand.
Jonathan Dowdy –
Absolutely love the Thunderbird, great disc for all levels of player. Even at a 9 speed it takes off out of the hand with urgency, & want to stay in the air as long as possible. DX plastic is great for quick beating in. All around a must have in every disc golfers bag.
Kyle P. –
Great purchase. Exactly what I expected.

Less stable thunderbird. Easier to beat in. Awesome disc. Great description.

A bit flippy in pro plastic, still a good disc.
John D. –
Solid disc with a strong finish.
