Sublime Freetail

(12 customer reviews)

Sublime Freetail – Mint Discs Freetail is a control driver that is understable and easy to use for all players. When thrown flat it will give you a great anhyzer flight and a ton of glide. For power players this will be a great roller disc, throw it hard and flat and watch it get to the ground and stand up for a beautiful roller angle. Also great for big high turnovers that get a ton of glide and hold the angle easily. Great for big turnovers, hyzerflips, and rollers. If you need a new flippy hybrid driver then Mint Discs has the perfect offering for you with the Sublime Freetail!

Here is what Mint has to say about the mold: “Our 2nd driver is named after the Mexican Free-tailed Bat that is native to our home city of Austin, Texas. The Freetail is a driver that wants you to control it, not power it like the Alpha. Give it an easy flat spin for the best turnover your life, or if you have a bit more power make sure to put a little hyzer on it for a buttery flip up line.”

  1. Nice stable Freetail like the stiff first runs.

  2. This 3rd run sublime is exactly what I was looking for to compliment the much flippier eternal run

  3. Love the flight and plastic

  4. I love the feel and the range of this baby!

  5. Excited to try this flippy bat once the weather allows. Didn’t get a chance to throw it this season.

  6. A great flyer for all skill levels. Sublime plastic makes it less flippy than Eternal

  7. test

  8. Absolutely love the Freetail. This is a great distance driver for players with sub-350 ft power as well as more advanced players looking for a beautiful hyzer flip disc. The most recent runs have produced wildly different flight patterns depending on plastic. I’ll post a review on each of the pages with my experience.

3rd Run Sublime (SB-FT03-22) is the most straight/stable of the newer runs. Keep in mind it is still a Freetail so it’s not going to be flying like a Grace/Wraith/etc. This one gets a nice -1 to -2 turn for me, but still has plenty of stability to fade back and finish straight or a little to the side of your natural fade. I would say 10/5/-2/1 is a good estimate at my 300ish ft arm speed for this run of sublime Freetails. This guy is also a lazer beam forehand disc for me when released on slight hyzer.

  9. Mint disc have been killing it lately and the free tail is no different. Love the hand feel and the sublime plastic is great!

  10. Great for hyzer flips, turnovers, rollers, it’s good for it all super pretty plastic and feels good in the hand
