Star TeeRex

(8 customer reviews)

Star TeeRex – Overstable distance drivers are a huge part of power players games in the modern game of disc golf. Being able to trust a disc to hyzer at high speeds and long distances is very important on these huge courses. The Teerex is a disc that can be ripped on both forehand and backhand with confidence that it will finish on hyzer. The Star plastic is perfect for the great combination of grip and durability. Grab a Star Teerex today!

Innova says this about the mold: “The TeeRex is a fast, stable to overstable power driver with significant glide. Resistance to turn at high speeds means this disc will perform well into the wind. TeeRex offers the flight of the TeeBird with the speed of the Wraith. Recommended for professional level players and those that throw at high speeds. The TeeRex is a great distance disc for windy conditions and sidearm throwers.”

  1. The disc is ok. Cool stamp but honestly didn’t do anything my Wraiths can’t do. Doubt it will make the bag.

  2. Don’t short arm it.

  3. If you know, you know. This run is close to the PFNs. Plastic maybe a tad on the gummy side but nuetral stiffness is still a fair grade. Not as OS as the numbers indicate but these are a forehand players dream. Holds a forced flex line with the best of them. Hard to find another manufacturer that makes a disc like this one. Great job Innova and OTB for bringing this one back. I expect/hope this will season into a carving machine just like the old ones.

  4. It’s my all time favorite disc

  5. Exactly what I wanted.

  6. So happy to be able to bag a pink teerex and retire my PFN

  7. Overstable beefcake. When it absolutely positively needs to fade at the end of the flight, toss a TeeRex. But toss it hard. Not exactly a headwind disc, as it is technically possible to turn & burn these guys. But if a long hyzer or high forced flex is needed, this is the go-to. I’ve missed the TeeRex, it’s much more stable and with more fade than the Wraith so makes a great forehand disc.

  8. My old friend returns! My old standby for forehand throws has been sorely missed. While there are a lot of fantastic forehand options out there, nothing flies quite like one of these. This run of Teerex is much like I remember the last runs before they were discontinued. Teerex is NOT just a glorified Wraith. It is far more stable with a very consistent fade. I can easily force over a Wraith, but these Teerexes will fly flat with some high speed drift before dumping hard at the end of the flight. They still hate headwind, but will fade forward if you’re riding a crosswind. Even a decent backhand is enough to get some really impressive long hyzer action.

Don’t be afraid of them! Buy a dozen or so and throw an old school beefcake.
