The ascend is awesome. Gives backhand players a forehand.
Great low speed flip hyzer disc. Great stamp. Certainly not a universal fairway driver, but it does go in and out of the bag depending on altitude and course windows. This is not as good as the Crave or Drift for 90% of your average technical drives, but when I have a 3′ gap on a semi-straight fairway I would rather throw the Ascend on a Hyzer as its fade is more predictable. Outside of window shots the Crave is more flexible and the Drift is capable of holding more turn at a higher speed.
Been wanting this disc since it came out. Why did I wait so long. This is such an underrated disc.
