Opto Recoil

Opto Recoil – Joining the Latitude 64 lineup in 2019, the Recoil has some serious distance. We at OTB spent a bit of time with the SE (pre-1st run) Recoil and it had a very nice flight. At 400ish foot power, it turned over for just a bit and held, then came back with a reliable fade. The Opto plastic seems to be a little more overstable and has a ton of durability. This is a disc that is great for players with decent power that want a disc that gets distance but is also predictable. Grab an Opto Recoil today.
Latitude 64 says this about the mold: “When you need the distance but you do not want to compromise on control, the Recoil fits the bill. Rated at speed 12, this overstable distance driver has a comfortable grip and the mild low speed fade makes it easier to stay on the fairway.”

Nice overstalbe disc
I love this disc!!!. Overstable, but not too much. I love this disc for long straight drives thrown on an anhyzer. With an strong fade, perfect to skip it close to the basket!
I picked up a opto first run and opto x version. Flight numbers are accurate, although I think the first run edition is slightly less stable than the opto X. I got my first Recoil in a mystery box, gave it a try and loved it. I have been improving my power and this disc is giving me reliable flight and distance with big power. I have since picked up the Albert Tamm V2 and V3 versions, both are very stable. So comfortable in the hand, the dish is not to deep but not shallow like a DDx.
Son (18) launches this one.
This review is for the Gold Line Recoil. Definitely way more under stable than the numbers suggest. I was hoping for a beat Xcal or really stable Wraith kind of flight. Flew like a really beat Pro Wraith. Not something I’d keep in the bag.
Excited to try
