Ponderosa – AGL has been making a ton of discs recently and the Ponderosa is dropping at the same time as the Baobab. AGL is based in the Bay Area of California and have been making a push in the sport the last couple years! The Ponderosa is a putter that has a ton of glide. It is a good feeling putter that is under stable and a really long thrower off of the tee. The AGL Ponderosa has a a thin bottom profile with a shoulder that has some height to it. It is a shoulder that tapers up to a high point giving it a ton of glide. It is a great disc off the tee for shots that you want to drift to the right. For putts in and around the circle it is great to get that added distance due to its glide. If you need a putt to hold an anhyzer angle in the woods from 40 ft then this is the perfect putter for you. This disc flys more true to it’s numbers. Flips over and does a nice turn to the right. I really like how the hemp blend plastic grips.

Great flight, very understable with no fade. Plastic got pretty beat up really fast.
Love love love these things. Super sticky on the chains, very true flight when putting, and extremely low fade when frisbee-tossed to the basket for a 100’ throw in. With just a touch of power and a decent amount of height these will hyzer flip up and seemingly glide forever. There’s a hole at DeLaveaga that tees off from the parking lot and drops away in elevation until you reach the basket at about 350’ in the longer position. I’ve been able to lob these guys in and consistently land even with the basket. The secret for these putters is to not overpower them.
If you want a putter that goes dead straight, you found it.

Consistent flight, great plastic and everything you want if you have a flat to slight anhyzer putting style, when putting it will hold the line a little longer then other putters imo.
