Great fippy mid range
I bought this to see how it would compare to my really beat-in max weight Crave. I was surprised that the Ascend is maybe slightly more stable than that disc. Like most 6 speeds, it feels and flies more like a fairway than a mid. If you’re looking for an out-of-the-box flippy Crave or just a Crave alternative with more dome, this isn’t a bad choice.
Beautiful color
Learning to backhand this is my longest disc.
amazing disc, flips up eazy and glides!
amazing hyzer flip
I love this disc! It feels amazing. It’s a faster, more controllable uplink.
My arm maxes out at about 300, and when I throw the ascend flat and hard it, I get a good, controllable, mid flight turn which it holds to the right and doesn’t fade back left or burn over into a cut roller. It’s a good forehand substitute for backhand dominant players.
This is a pretty good disc from streamline discs. A little less understable than the numbers indicate but is still able to cut up decent lines out of the gate. It will beat into great woods disc.
Wow! I love this disc. It’s a faster, more controllable Uplink. I can get easy, controllable 250′ – 300′ turnovers that don’t cut-roll out of this disc, which is great for me because I have a really weak forehand.
