Midnight Flyer #7 Glow Sail – The perfect beginners disc from DGA Discs, this is a very understable driver that is perfect for those looking for more turn. Slower arm speeds can use this as their main distance driver, while power players will find a disc that is easy to roll for those shots that need to flip quickly. The Sail has tons of glide, making it easy to get distance even at low speeds. Glow Midnight Flyer #7 is a great run of this amazing mold that is perfect for all those glow rounds. DGA says this about the mold: “The DGA Sail distance driver is a very controllable distance driver that is great for all levels of play. The Sail with its understable flight characteristics is perfect for slower arm speeds looking for a long range distance driver. Players with faster arm speeds will have fun launching this disc into huge anhyzers and turn over shots. This DGA distance driver lives up to its name and produces effortless glide allowing players max distance and control. The sail is great for tough drives through tight wooded conditions that need distance and finesse.”
Speed 11 | Glide 5 | Turn -5 | Fade 1 |
Sail gets max distance for my low/medium speed arm. Glides very far with a big turn with fade at the end. Agree most throws don’t show -5 turn, and when it does get full power or headwind it will still glide it out to the left, not roll. Love the unique number stamps on the midnight flyer series. Glow plastic is more overstable than Proline.
These glow runs seem to be more overstable than other runs, less dome too. Still a lot of turn but a more manageable disc for me to throw
