MD5 – Not so Swirly S Line ;)
Swirly MD5 – the newest installation of the popular MD5 mold, now available in the Swirly S Line plastic. These were dubbed a not-so swirly run from the guys at Discmania. Still all unique and a little flavor to each one, some more than others.
This run is a touch on the flatter side – there is a bit a variance in the dome on each one so keep an eye on the flatness rating we give each disc. This run is also said to be one of the more Overstable versions for the MD5 in it’s short lifespan. We look forward to testing one of these out and seeing how well that holds true! So far, the new Swirly MD5 has been very well received by the Discmania faithful.

“The MD5 is an overstable midrange driver with a flight designed to give the trustworthy stable fade that players are looking for. Great for reliable fairway approaches, huge hyzer lines, and dependable flicks, the Swirly S-Line MD5 is made to handle power. This run of S-Line MD5 maintains a similar flight pattern to other MD5’s but has a touch more stability. You’ll notice this run of MD5 start to fade a little sooner and faster when compared to other runs of MD5 by Fall 2019. This disc features a flat top and a beaded low profile that allows it to consistently release smoothly from the hand.
Swirl disclaimer: there are not much swirls on this run of discs. Despite this, the name Swirl has been stamped on them.
MD5 – The highly anticipated more Overstable Midrange from Discmania. This has a familiar and comfortable fit in the hand. Reminiscent of a Gator, this is sure to be fighting headwinds all over!”

My new Method was not as overstable as i was hoping it would be, enter the MD5. A strong fade at the end just as advertised, loving the disc

Swirl plastic actually looks pretty cool. The disc is the dump truck mid we’ve all been waiting for from Discmania.
Flies kinda like a Zone, but a bit faster, with a bead and a very small midrange, size of putters
Flies great, but color sucks. Got the pinkest looking one, ends up pretty tan and muddied in person.
