  1. I purchased this so I could have someone attempt to dye it pink, to match my discs. They haven’t gotten around to it yet, but I have one I currently use that’s been fantastic.

For awhile I thought the suction balls were gimmicky, and would only really work if the disc was wet. I’ve since been proven wrong. They work fantastic whether the disc is wet or dry.

For me, it’s the easiest and most effective disc retriever tip I’ve ever used. Just give the disc a decent slap and it’s good to go. Highly recommend!

  2. I mounted the “Max Suction Cup Ball2” ball to a 4ft fiberglass rod. I use it to pick up discs off the ground while I am doing field work.
There are no trees or water hazards on my golf course so it would not be utilized during a round of golf.
I drilled a hole into the end of the rod and used the ball to thread it.
After initial use, I learned that if I hold the rod by the end and slam(?) the ball on to the disc and then slide my hand down the rod to pick the disc up. I then place it in my other hand and rip the ball and disc apart.

Seems that at certain angles I need several attempts to get it to stick. Like if the disc is on a upslope bank.

I’m getting better with it but it still doesn’t stick on the first attempt all the time. It attaches to the disc about 90% of the time.

It doesn’t work very well if the disc is covered in dirt after landing on the infield of the baseball field where I practice. lol

All in all it’s a great product and IF I ever play on a course with trees and water I will definitely put it in my bag.

  8. It’s a must have in your bag

  9. I have used this to retrieve my discs and my friends discs from the creek that runs along the back of the course. Works wonderfully just like an Octopus arm. I got this because a friend if mine used his to retrieve my disc. Its awesome !!

  10. clutch grabber!
