Mason Ford Apex Bullet – Mint Discs has popped onto the scene and continues to release great molds. The Bullet is one of their newest discs to the market and it is amazing. It is a low profile, beadless putter. It has an amazing feel in the hand and a reliable straight flight. The first batch of these seems to be extremely flat and fits comfortably in the hand. The Bullet comes in three plastics right now, the Royal, Royal Soft and now Eternal plastic The Royal plastics are tacky base lines, while the Eternal is a nice clear run of premium plastic. Mint says this about their plastic: “Royal plastic is our “pro grade” plastic. The benefit to this plastic over Sublime, Apex or Eternal is the superior grip in all conditions. The tacky feel is uniquely soft yet firm. Royal plastic is also an ideal option if you want to it to wear in or “season” faster. Typically this type of plastic will get a straighter flight as it wear’s in and loses it’s high speed stability.”
