Alpine Manzanita
$16.99
Manzanita – One of two putters in AGL Discs lineup. These are semi deep, beadless putters that feature a thumbtack. The plastic is quality and feels really good in the hand. The unique feel this mold has feels good both backhand and forehand due to its super flat top. Named after the Manzanita, all of AGL’s discs feature tree themed names. This San Jose company has been producing quality plastic and is slowly growing their lineup. The Manzanita is their most stable putter so it is great for throwing off of the tee. It handles power well and can be used both forehand and backhand.
Here is what AGL says about the type of discs they make: “We’re not afraid to turn the traditional designs inside out, upside down, or whatever else works to squeeze in every ounce of performance from our discs. Our customers know that every disc they buy from us has been designed on years of real world performance and twisting. By always willing to push the edge of the envelope, and integrating modern 3D workflows, we quickly take ideas and begin producing prototypes. This is what allows us to ensure high-quality, high-value products with extended research periods leading to short “time-to-market” once a design has been validated.”

I am liking the thumb track on these, gives great control.
The putter plastic feels really nice. Reminds me of a P2 style putter with a subtle groove on top.
definitely resembles an ‘evergreen dward shrub’
Did not make the bag.
New favorite approach putter
Very happy with this disc. Excellent shipping and ordering. I will order with OTB again.
New to AGL and they’re knocking it out the park. Groove in flight plate feels neutral. Slight slant to the bottom rim adds to comfort. If this disc had the madrone flight numbers this would be the exact disc I would need to fill my bag.
If I find more of the stiffer hemp blend plastic then this will take my straight to understable approach slot in my bag. Once they beat in they’ll def be a nice compliment to my harps.
