Madrone
$16.99
Madrone – The AGL, Above Ground Level, Madrone is a deep dish putter that has a pretty flat top. This disc features a thumb track and a blunt nose that creates a unique feel. Featuring a really straight flight, the Madrone can be the go to putter off the tee and in the circle. This San Jose based company has used 3D printing in order to create the prototypes, and these putters have a unique feel and a small micro bead. With flight numbers of 3,3,0,1 these things are straight flyers all over the course.
Here is what AGL says about the type of discs they make: “We’re not afraid to turn the traditional designs inside out, upside down, or whatever else works to squeeze in every ounce of performance from our discs. Our customers know that every disc they buy from us has been designed on years of real world performance and twisting. By always willing to push the edge of the envelope, and integrating modern 3D workflows, we quickly take ideas and begin producing prototypes. This is what allows us to ensure high-quality, high-value products with extended research periods leading to short “time-to-market” once a design has been validated.”

Rim is a little big for my grip but a very fun disc
Unique mold, a slightly more glidey berg in my opinion.
Alpine plastic blend that I got is super flexible and gummy.
Would rate numbers 2, 2, 0, 2
Did not make the bag.
Been on the search for a new neutral throwing approach discs and this may be it.
Love trying new discs esp from a local Bay Area company. Pretty interesting with the groove and the round rim. Hard to choose between this or the mazanita
My favorite and go to putter in my bag
The madrone is a stable putter with deep dish and thumb groove. I needed something similar to my pure, and the guys recommended me the madrone. Its been in my bag for almost two months and I’m satisfied with its flight.
10/10 would putt again!!! The putter for me that just absolutely felt right when I picked it up. Fixed my confidence and form that was nearly non-existent when I putted with P2s. The flight is very straight/stable making for consistency in putts. Also, a really nice throwing putter especially when in Alpine plastic.
Great looking Madrone, point and shoot disc, became my new putting and throwing putter.
Flies great but not a fan of the thumbtrack.
All around a solid disc.
