Paul McBeth Luna – A brand new disc from Discraft, this Prototype putter looks to have a sweet flight to it. Paul released a short video clip of it being thrown on upshots and some putts. This disc will be called the Luna! It has a great beadless feel in the hand. It is pretty rounded and has a decent amount of stability packed with a ton of glide. It is a great putter for both putting and driving off the tee. It has plenty of stability for all the shots you want a putter to make. When thrown hard and flat the Luna tends to slide to the right then slowly fight out finishing flat or on a slight hyzer. Used as his main putter, 5x  World Champion Paul McBeth has embraced this disc since its inception. He both putts and throws with it off the tee, now in a Z line off the tee, Keep your eyes open for that!!! The Paul McBeth Luna is such a great putter for all sorts of uses, it is versatile and can be used all over the course.

The prototype run, 1st run, and stock run of the Paul McBeth Luna all have different blends of plastic. The prototype was gritty and stiff, the 1st run was smooth and stiff, the current stock run is a bit softer and has some more rubber blend type grip to it.

My favorite thing about PM Luna’s are the plastic blend. They offer consistent grip even when wet.

  2. Brady (verified owner)

Love the Luna. I was putting with a magnet that came in a starter set, and this was a huge improvement.

  3. James Waldron (verified owner)

I can’t describe just how much I love this disc, but I’ll try. I was initially skeptical of how much praise a putter was getting and figured most of it was simply due to having Paul’s name on it, but after one round of bagging it I was sold. The feel of this disc alone is enough of a reason to give it a shot; I’m sure how much, if any, added grip the special blend plastic actually gives, but it does boost my confidence in my putt every time I pick it up.

I’ve thrown both the special blend and z line versions of the Luna and I’m much more partial to this special blend. I got the z line to have one I can use off the tee and for approach shots, but it feels a bit bulkier in my hand and I ended up swapping it for another special blend. As a male player with smaller than average hands, I often find it difficult to throw certain putters/approach discs so having an approach disc that I can grip comfortably has been great for my game.

TL;DR: Fantastic disc for both putting and throwing. Best feeling plastic I’ve ever thrown.

  4. Tony M. (verified owner)

Great feel in hand very comfortable haven’t had a chance to through it yet but off of first glance can already tell gonna get me some good Putts out of this one

  5. Sean (verified owner)

Best putter ever! Good thrower too.

  6. E Wescott-Barten (verified owner)

Love the plastic and rainbow stamps. Description was accurate

  7. Christopher (verified owner)

Great disc, exactly as described and pictured.

  8. Daniel (verified owner)

Great! A bit more gummy than the first runs.

  9. Vance Dostert (verified owner)

Love this disc as my XD replacement, more stable and a little more fade but I like it and it’s improving my scores

  10. Deitric S. (verified owner)

Love it, very good plastic. My favorite putter I have tried.
