Paul McBeth Luna

(313 customer reviews)

Paul McBeth Luna – A brand new disc from Discraft, this Prototype putter looks to have a sweet flight to it. Paul released a short video clip of it being thrown on upshots and some putts. This disc will be called the Luna! It has a great beadless feel in the hand. It is pretty rounded and has a decent amount of stability packed with a ton of glide. It is a great putter for both putting and driving off the tee. It has plenty of stability for all the shots you want a putter to make. When thrown hard and flat the Luna tends to slide to the right then slowly fight out finishing flat or on a slight hyzer. Used as his main putter, 5x  World Champion Paul McBeth has embraced this disc since its inception. He both putts and throws with it off the tee, now in a Z line off the tee, Keep your eyes open for that!!! The Paul McBeth Luna is such a great putter for all sorts of uses, it is versatile and can be used all over the course.

The prototype run, 1st run, and stock run of the Paul McBeth Luna all have different blends of plastic. The prototype was gritty and stiff, the 1st run was smooth and stiff, the current stock run is a bit softer and has some more rubber blend type grip to it.

    Luna, the best thank you!

Love the feel of the rubber blend lunas! Medium firmness and great grip.

I love the luna and that I can pick exactly the one I want from OTB. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is because the luna is expensive for a go to putter. This isn’t OTB’s fault, but hope that eventually discraft will lower the price for everone and second hand sites like this.

Super solid putting putter (or even approach putter). Feels great in the hand and the grip is unmatched.

Awesome disc! Can’t wait to learn how it flies. Definitely not disappointed.

Well it lives up to it’s hype. At first I didn’t like it, the feel was great but it flew like it was more dense than my other discs. I had just settled on a putting combo I liked, MVP Ion with Discmania P2, when I saw this Luna on OTB. Knowing they get swooped on I threw in the cart with a Mantis(that I love but mostly bought because I love its namesake). The first round was a bit rough, both the P2 and Ion felt like they wanted to float a bit more while the Luna felt like it wanted to hug the ground more. After adjustment my second round with the luna had markedly better results. I tend to do a little Anhyzer on my putts and the Luna seems to love that. So, yeah I thought I found my putter in the P2, which I will keep around but my main might be the Luna now.

    Love this putter!

Not quite a 0/3 in stability, but has so much glide and an awesome disc once you find it’s potential.

    Perfectly described. Love it
