K1 Soft Järn – The first overstable approach disc in the Kastaplast lineup, the mold feels amazing and is kind of a mix between a putter and a midrange. It has a nice overstable feel that is very comfortable on forehand and backhand grips. A few of us in the shop have thrown the Järn and it has a good combination of glide and overstability. It is a disc that can be thrown hard and it will not flip but it will push forward and hyzer reliably every time.
Kastaplast says this about the mold: “The Järn (Swedish for ‘Iron’), is the first overstable approach disc by Kastaplast. This disc has a predictable fade, giving you confidence into headwinds. It has a flat top and is perfect for control flex approach shots. It’s a must have disc for players of all levels.”

I have been waiting for this run since I heard the Jarn was coming out in K1 Soft. The disc is EXACTLY as described, as ALWAYS, thank you OTB. OTB #1 – This disc is just as overstable as the K1 – they do skip very differently. The K1 soft does minimize ground play greatly. I cannot speak highly enough of Kastaplast plastic and this disc – this disc will always have a spot in my bag. God Bless!
