K1 Järn – The first overstable approach disc in the Kastaplast lineup, the mold feels amazing and is kind of a mix between a putter and a midrange. It has a nice overstable feel that is very comfortable on forehand and backhand grips. A few of us in the shop have thrown the Järn and it has a good combination of glide and overstability. It is a disc that can be thrown hard and it will not flip but it will push forward and hyzer reliably every time.
Kastaplast says this about the mold: “The Järn (Swedish for ‘Iron’), is the first overstable approach disc by Kastaplast. This disc has a predictable fade, giving you confidence into headwinds. It has a flat top and is perfect for control flex approach shots. It’s a must have disc for players of all levels.”

More distance and stability than a zone, plastic feels really good
The järn is a great disc, thing of a mutant like feel to it. Compliments my zone well with a more overstable approach.
The only issue was the plastic came cracked out of the box not the worst cracking, but noticeable.
Nothing was resolved after sending an email but all the love to OTB! Will continue to purchase from them.
My new favorite mid, as a rhbh amateur/starter, this flies true and well!

Love the jarn!! Overstable for an approach disc. Fills my slot.
Still figuring this disc out, but it’s made a place in my bag for now. Great feeling plastic, comfortable for BH and FH. Would totally recommend.
Got this because I really like the K1 plastic and the forehand feel of this disc is spot on. Compared to the rest of the overstable mids/putters, the Jarn feels like I can get more glide with a reliable finish. It’s not going to turnover but it’s also not crazy overstable which makes it useful for many different shots.
Move over Zone !!!
