K1 Järn
$20.99
K1 Järn – The first overstable approach disc in the Kastaplast lineup, the mold feels amazing and is kind of a mix between a putter and a midrange. It has a nice overstable feel that is very comfortable on forehand and backhand grips. A few of us in the shop have thrown the Järn and it has a good combination of glide and overstability. It is a disc that can be thrown hard and it will not flip but it will push forward and hyzer reliably every time.
Kastaplast says this about the mold: “The Järn (Swedish for ‘Iron’), is the first overstable approach disc by Kastaplast. This disc has a predictable fade, giving you confidence into headwinds. It has a flat top and is perfect for control flex approach shots. It’s a must have disc for players of all levels.”

Perfect overstable approach/mid, my experience the domey runs are less stable and can flip up and the flat ones are beefy
Great aproach
I’ve tried virtually all of the overstable approach discs, and this one has the best hand feel to me and the results are consistent. It certainly has the stability I was looking for, and I find it is great when thrown hard or as a touchy upshot.
Forehand flyer! Get you a jarn!
More glide than a zone but just as over stable and dependable
Great dependable stability
Love it.
Really enjoy this disc. More os than a zone. Feels like a deeper toro. Likes to nose dive and spike into the ground.
So overstable. Still can’t turn it but I’ll keep trying
More distance and stability than a zone, plastic feels really good
