DX Invader
$9.99
DX Invader – The Invader is one of the newest putters from Innova and it is super popular. It has a bead and a flat top making it great off the tee both forehand and backhand. It holds any angle you put it on and can stand up to a ton of power. Now available in DX plastic for more understable shots and to use around the green for putting and Star plastic for those more overstable drives off the tee. It is a great feeling mold that is now available in a few plastic varieties. This is a disc that will be a great seller, the Innova audience has found the Luster version to be a great flyer off the tee and everyone loves the feel. Combine that with DX and Star plastic and you get a new fan favorite!! The Invader has come into the sport and it is here to stay! Grab one of these amazing discs today.
Innova says this about the mold: “The Invader is one of the best driving and approach putters available. Its flat top and low profile make it easy to grip-n-rip consistently straight flights. Now available in the feel and grip of DX, the Invader could become a player favorite for putting too.”
Speed 3 | Glide 2 | Turn 0 | Fade 1 |
Exactly as advertised, we like that.
Discs came as described by OTB, nice and flat. The disc itself is a pretty solid approach disc. Not a massive amount of torque resistance but won’t immediately turn and burn when thrown with power.
The Innova Invader is my current go to putting putter. I have two in my bag. One is slightly beaten in and I use it as a slightly under-stable throwing putter. The other is my putting putter. I love the feel of the invader. It is very flat and on the shallower side for me, but the micro bead prevents it from feeling too shallow in my hands. Still very new to disc golf and still exploring different molds but I don’t think the Invader will leave my bag.
New go to stable driving putter.
Awesome disc
Excellent throwing putter.
Best teeing off putter I’ve found
This is definitely less overstable than its luster champion sibling (cousin? Counterpart?), but still a great, straight flyer!
Gorgeous disc that feels great in the hand. Beautiful stamp, and straight shot with a little late fade
I bought this disc as a replacement/ backup for my Discmania p3x. I searched forums and racks of discs in stores for months before finding something similar. I tried the westside shield for a while but found it too rounded and bulky. The bead on this is great and feels close to the p3x. I depend on this for almost every upshot and am glad innova has such a widely-available product I can depend on.
