Proton Inertia – The Inertia is a perfect for those that love to hyzer flip the disc. It is a great control driver that is easy to throw without being to understable. It is a great disc for players of all skill levels. Newer players will find this to be a workhorse disc that gets distance and is controllable, while bigger arm players will use it for hyzer flips and rollers. It is a great feeling disc in the hand in the Proton plastic and should hold up well over time. Grab a Proton Inertia today!
MVP says this about the mold: “The Inertia is the grand debut of our 20mm-wing distance driver class. This class of controllable distance drivers will all have a wide weight range from 155g to 175g. This allows for an unmatched GYRO™ Push to give throwers increased control in their distance drives. The Inertia’s understable profile will allow high power throwers to achieve consistent hyzerflips that will carry far and accurately. Its Neutral flight for low power throwers will allow for reliably straight distance lines with accuracy.”
Speed 9 | Glide 5 | Turn -2 | Fade 2 |
I was not expecting this to be so flippy. I guess MVP isn’t messing around with that -2 turn. It is definitely not a disc for far throwers.
A bit too stiff for me personally but great at flexing and coming back.
Absolutely love the inertia in proton. Quick shipping as always.
Awesome disc, does what it’s supposed to do
Very flippy for me
A little more stable than the Neutron plastic, which seems to fly better for me.
Lot like the wave so like it
I was hoping for a little straighter flight with this disc being proton plastic. If your looking for a turn over disc or a roller then this disc will do it. If you have a slower arm speed you should get a pretty straight flight with a touch of turn.
The Proton Inertia (166g) is a straight driver with a consistent baby fade, like a faster Crave.
I recently took out my Valkyries. And thought I had my shots covered with a Cosmic Neutron Crave and a Champ Beast, but I also needed a disc with less fade, more so like a seasoned Star Valk. Enter the Inertia. Great flight thrown just to the right of the basket, nice straight line fades towards the basket at the tail end of the flight. Now I’m covered.
i think the proton inertia is closest to the flight numbers listed for the disc. in other plastics i find it to be more understable and easier to flip
