Harpoon – A shallow midrange that has a small diameter, this is the perfect disc for approach shots and tee shots. It sits very comfortably in the hand both forehand and backhand and has enough stability to really rip into. Lone Star Discs makes some amazing molds in high quality plastic. Lone Star says this about the mold: “The Harpoon is an extremely consistent, versatile, and reliable midrange. Whatever task is at hand, the Harpoon can handle it. Apply power and it will hold whatever line you put it on. Throw with “touch,” and it will fade slightly. Perfect for approach shots –on or off the tee! Forehand, backhand, or overhand–the Harpoon is ready”

Disc flight #s suggest this disc to be more OS than it really is. If thrown flat it has almost 0 flex, but if put on a big hyzer is it great for spike shots due to the plastic
Good service!
Good flight just need more dome
Thin rim is a challenge but its a Lone Star Zone
Love this disc. Use for upshot’s whether backhand or forehand it doesn’t matter. Less fade than a Zone.
Shallow, less stable Zone. I was looking for something to replace my Envy that was much shallower. This definitely did the job. Bravo plastic is a little more flexible than ESP. Great for pinch-grip backhand and forehand approaches, but it struggles to handle forehand torque.
Very shallow approach disc. I own 2. One in alpha plastic and a victor 1. The V1 is stable as a zone. The other thing about the V1 is that it floats. First useful floating disc I have found.
Also bought for a friend and it flies great!
Flatter top and shallower rim than the Zone. I like Harpoon much more than Zone.
Love this for approach forehand flicks. Really nice for approach backhands. I like it more than a Zone, but it isn’t quite as stable as one.
