VIP Gatekeeper

VIP Gatekeeper – Debuting in Tournament X plastic, and is now being offered in VIP plastic. It is a straight midrange that will hold true to most arms. In slower arm speeds it might be somewhat overstable, but for more powerful arms the Gatekeeper should be a reliable straight flyer. It has a good feel in the hand, and is started to be trusted by a lot of pros. The Gatekeeper is the newest midrange in the lineup from Westside Discs and should slide right in there and be a mold people talk about for a long time. It is a disc that people will throw many versions of, cycling them in and out with different plastics to provide a cornucopia of flights. Now with the VIP plastic in addition to the SE Gatekeepers that were originally released, you can start adding them to your bag to create different flights with the same feel. Westside says this about the mold: “The Gatekeeper wants to go right where you throw it, and it excels at holding angles. Even when thrown with power, the Gatekeeper stays true with a slight tendency to fade. With surprising high-speed stability and a comfortable rim, enlist the Gatekeeper to help you stay in the fairway.”

Nice stable mid with good glide.
Love this disc. It’s a great replacement for the Sling, which is unfortunately no longer in production.
Bought for my girlfriend and she’s been loving it. Great glide and easy to throw, it’s been serving her well. Thrown it a few times myself and might be adding it to my bag as well
I’ve only just started throwing a VIP-X Glimmer Gatekeeper, but my first few rounds with it in the bag have been promising. It feel a lot like the Buzzz in my hand and I might like the VIP-X Glimmer plastic better than the ESP, and I love how ESP feels. I’ve been mostly using it for “straight at the pin” upshots in the 80 to 150 foot range, and its been great.
Great straight flying mid range
