Gamma Hydrogen – The Hydrogen is a brand new disc from a brand new company! Loft Discs says this about how they came to be: “Løft Discs was founded in the summer of 2020 after founders Niels and Asger had developed the first 3D flight path simulator for disc golf based on 3D-models as a part of Niels’ final thesis as a mechanical engineer. Joining forces with IT product development Ph.d. and long-time friend Kasper, Løft Discs was born. By combining science and creativity, we want to push boundaries, make real innovation in disc design and bring a better understanding of disc golf physics into the sport – ultimately striving to empower players to achieve better results out on the courses.” This is a disc that feels a lot like an old school frisbee but with a touch thicker rim. The Gamma plastic is great feeling and has some high quality glow to it!. Grab a Loft Gamma Hydrogen today!
Loft says this about the mold: “Hydrogen is the first disc from Løft Discs. Designed to be the straightest flying putter on the market, it raised more than €200,000 on Kickstarter for it’s first release. Hydrogen is a beadless putter with a rounded edge and a very unique flight. Its design has been optimized with our one-of-a-kind flight path simulator to fly as straight as possible while still having a regular shape, a small diameter and a smooth grip. It will hold any line you put it on, giving “point and shoot” a whole new meaning – both for putting and throwing. With such an honest flight, this disc is also a great tool for learning to control your angles as well as general form.”

A bit more overstable than my alpha plastic (expected with glow plastic) so I’ll have to get used to it. It won’t just replace my other hydrogen. But it definitely secured a spot in my glow bag. Can be thrown flat with some power without turning over. And a little more fade than the original hydrogen. Which was none, so not much.
Loft absolutely killed it with their glow plastic, it keeps up with Lone Star and Kastaplast glow. With Brightness and longevity.
This is an amazing disc. It’s a bit deep for me as a putting putter, I tend to prefer shallower putters, but it’s actually not too uncomfortable despite its depth which surprised me. And it does go dead straight, as advertised. Where I absolutely love it is as an approach disc. There it also goes dead straight. No fade at all. It’s like a Berg but somehow even straighter.
Really love this putter. I have big hands and it fits just right on the throw.
